Important Notices

Please note these important points when visiting Equus:

1. We apologise but we cannot currently accept card payments.

2. Dogs are not allowed so do not bring them with you.

3. If attending a whole day event bring lunch with you.

4. No smoking is allowed at Equus.

What to Wear

DO WEAR: Jodhpurs, chaps and boots or full length riding boots if you have them. Long leg wear like comfortable trousers or leggings and shoes with a small heel (i.e. walking shoes or Chelsea style boots) are essential.

DO NOT WEAR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

Flat soled trainers (like Converse & Sketchers), shoes with buckles, platforms or high heels.  Shorts, 3/4 length trousers, skirts and dresses are not suitable.

Equus can provide a helmet.

Weather Conditions

Moray is famous for changing weather conditions. Lessons, forest or beach hacks are very rarely cancelled due to the weather, so please wear suitable clothing for the weather on the day and also cater for changing conditions.

What to Expect

On arrival you will be asked to fill out a Rider Registration Form, which is an Equus insurance requirement.  You will then be provided with safety equipment (helmet & high visibility bib) as required; introduced to your horse and briefed on what to expect as you get mounted.

Arrival

Please can all riders arrive 15mins before the lesson or hack.

Equus reserve the right to cancel the hack or lesson if the riders arrive too late and any deposit will be forfeited.
